A Freshman Year To Remember 🏌🏻‍♂️

Ivan Barahona, Crespi High School – Los Angeles, CA 🔥

Barahona will be one to watch for the next three years after winning the Mission League individual championship and league MVP as a freshman. He captured the Los Angeles Daily News’ NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR as he shot 2-under, 5-over, 2-over and 2-under, respectively, in the league tournaments.

Barahona’s inspired play continued in the postseason. He scored a 1-under 71 at River Ridge in Oxnard in the CIF-SS Regional tournament, carded an even-72 at Lakewood Country Club in the team’s championship event and fired a 2-under 70 at Goose Creek in Mira Loma to qualify for the SoCal Regional finals at Brookside.
